“Making the decision to have a child - it is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. ”
“You will never have this day with your child again. Tomorrow they’ll be a little older than they were today. This day is a gift. Breathe and notice. Smell and touch them; study their faces and little feet and pay attention. Relish the charms of the present. Enjoy today, mama. It will be over before you know it.”
"YOU are precious in every way, the SUNSHINE in my day, the JOY in my soul, and the LOVE of my life."
“Like the branches of a tree, we all grow in different directions, but our roots remain as one."
“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever. It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
I'm a Charlotte NC based portrait photographer with formal training in Information Technology. My love of photography was inspired as a child by my father who always documented my life with videos and photos. He taught me the importance of preserving our family's memories through imagery.
From childhood to adulthood, I have always owned a camera. I have albums and boxes full of heartfelt memories of my family and friends collected over the years. Each photo has it's own story and conjures a different thought and feeling about that moment. After working in technology for 14 years and finding myself an empty nester, I decided to pursue my love of photography professionally so that I may help others capture their stories.
